HKKEMA together with the Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA) and the Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS), co-organized the “Spring Dinner 2026″ on 17 March 2026 at Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui. This spring dinner is the third time that the three associations jointly held the Spring Dinner and cooperated in the industry.

We are honored to invite Hon. Sunny Tan, Member of the Legislative Council (Textiles and Garment Functional Constituency) to attend the dinner and deliver speech.

The dinner have the ceremony of the “Dream Knitters Fund,” inviting representatives from participated associations and companies for launching the project, laying a solid foundation for the future!

“Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025” co-organised by Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS), Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA) and Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA), will hold the YKDC Knitwear Show on 19 November 2025.

You will see Knitwear Design Collections from the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in this fashion show. All these knitwear outfits are designed by the AWARD WINNERS and FINALISTS of “Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025”. Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA) will have a seminar titled “Advancing Knitwear Industry Toward Carbon Neutrality: Implementing Carbon Footprint Reduction Strategies” will be held on 10 October 2025. This seminar will explore practical sustainability strategies across the knitwear supply chain. It will feature esteemed industry representatives as keynote speakers, sharing insights on carbon reduction and sustainability management. The session will also include a demonstration of the Knitwear Industry Product Carbon Footprint Assessment Tool to strengthen participants’ carbon management capabilities..

Co-organised by Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS), Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA) and Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA), the “Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025” is now open to fashion students and designers aged between 18 and 35 from the GBA Area.

Candidates are required to design 8 sets of knitwear outfit. The 10 finalists will be able to showcase their designs in fashion shows and exhibitions at international fashion events in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and be given the chance to sell their knitwear designs on online and offline sales platforms. The cash prizes of the contest are worth more than HK$50,000, while the winners will enjoy a free study trip to Seoul, Korea.
