20 November 2023 “Visit to Sew Solution”

HKKEMA and the Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA) jointly organized the “Visit to Sew Solution”. HKKEMA Chairman Mr. Peter Hui and members of the two associations visited Sew Solution’s local factory in Kwun Tong on 20 Nov (Monday). Through Sew Solution’s sharing and factory tours, visitors can increase their understanding of the digital whole-garment knitwear smart production line.

13 & 31 December 2023 “2023 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence”

The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (the HKAEE) is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environment and Ecology Bureau and in conjunction with nine organisations, namely, in alphabetical order, the Advisory Council on the Environment, the Business Environment Council, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and the Hong Kong Productivity Council.

22 – 26 October 2023 “Investment, Trade and Logistics Study Mission to Vietnam”

In order to have the opportunity to timely grasp and understand the market environment, development opportunities, and potential partners in Vietnam, the Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association, the Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association, the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, and the Hong Kong Intimate Apparel Industries’ Association jointly organize a study tour to Hanoi, Vietnam from October 22 to 26, 2023.

This study mission was successfully concluded, thanks to the guests for their participation.

HKKEMA Chairman Mr. Peter Hui participated in the “Investment, Trade and Logistics Study Mission to Vietnam”. Visiting different organizations in Vietnam and attending sharing sessions, enables participants to communicate directly with local organizations to increase the understanding of doing business in Vietnam.

12 October 2023 Chairman Mr. Peter Hui attended the Qualifications Framework “Ceremony and Sharing Session for Fashion Industry”

In order to appreciate HKKEMA for actively promoting the Qualifications Framework (QF) and participating in the “Recognition of Prior Learning” mechanism, HKKEMA Chairman Mr. Peter Hui was invited by QF to attend the “Ceremony and Sharing Session for Fashion Industry” held in Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District on 12 October 2023 (Thursday) to receive the commendation.

10-15 September 2023 Chairman Mr. Peter Hui attended the course of the National Situation Study program

Chairman Mr. Peter Hui attended the National Situation Study program held at Tsinghua University in Beijing from 10 to 15 September. The purpose was to enhance understanding of China’s national situation and development. Through diligent preparation and stable performance, Mr. Peter Hui’s team, Group 5, was commended as an outstanding group by Professor Li Yingbo of the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University.
